Michael Jean

Michael Jean(he/him) is an Afro-Latino filmmaker and recent MFA directing graduate from FSU College of Motion Picture Arts.  He is interested in telling stories that explore issues of identity, memory, and community. 

Before filmmaking, his interests were in classical and jazz music, literature and creative writing, documentary photography, and urban studies. He is keen on letting his past artistic and intellectual endeavors influence his work as a filmmaker.
